Expert consultation on 04/06/2017 “Improving the quality of training according to social demand”

During the period of industrialization - modernization today, human resources is the most important factor that determining the development of the country and the survival of the business. However, the quality of human resources is not properly taken care of and exists many shortcomings in our country today.

Although the labor of our country is abundant, the unemployment rate has continuously increased and businesses have still lacked labor in recent years. The cause is that Vietnamese labor only meets the demand for quantity and does not meet the demand for quality. This does not only makes it difficult for businesses and it also makes workers lose job opportunity for yourself.

Recognizing this urgent need, city television has made a reportage on the subject “Improving the quality of training according to social demand" in consultation with famous experts. According to Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Deputy Director Forecasting Human Resources Center, the socio-economic situation is being positive in our country, especially when we enter the ASEAN integration economy and international trade agreements. Therefore, we need to have knowledgeable, skilled and foreign language human resources. However  our economy falls into a state of redundancy and shortage now, we lack quality human resources in line with the tendency of industrialization and modernization of the country and the industry groups do not meet the demand for development. Improving this situation, human resources must be trained from the time of school, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has applied the method enrollment associated with recruitment, training linked to the provision of human resources. These are two key conditions for students to get a job when they graduate. The school  always supports students to practice in the business to experience the reality and this is a way for students to come to school and work in real life. That is the share of Mr. To Hoai Thang - Deputy Student Affairs Department – Ton Duc Thang University. As a business, an employer, Dr. Phan Ngoc Thanh - Director of INLEN Company is also a senior expert on training consultants commented: “The training way of the university of students is too heavy on the theory, do not care properly about the practice, lacks of effective working skills, lacks of creative thinking and lacks of thinking about philosophy". An integrated – a closed circle "Knowledge - Skill - Attitude" is what a student must have to confidently conquer the employer.

The fact has proved that: Human resources are the most precious asset and most important in the process of enterprise development. However,  human resources are the most precious and important asset who have knowledgeable, creative, enthusiastic, dedicated, and responsible for reaching the vision, the mission of the business, not the general human. The quality of human resources will determine the success of competition. This becomes more and more pressing in the context Vietnam has joined the WTO and taken the initiative in the process of international integration.

In the context of globalization is going strong and in terms of the world is moving from industrial civilization to civilized knowledge today, the competitive landscape of the world has also changed. Standing in the harsh competition environment requires countries in general and Vietnam in particular build a team of qualified staff to meet the needs of the society as well as keep up with the advanced level of science and technology of the world. Therefore, improving the quality of human resources is an important theme for the survival and sustainable development of nations.
