Conflict can be positive to promote the awareness, cooperation in problem-solving and help organizations and individuals develop. However, conflict can also be negative, causing hatred, discord, breaking collaboration at work, which affects the performance of the individual and the organization. Therefore, recognition and mediation conflict is a skill essential in an organization towards operational efficiency.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

After the course, the trainees can:

  • Adopt a positive approach to resolve the conflict between the individual and other people;
  • Applying these skills prevent conflicts between members within the inside as well as for external customers.

  • Definition of conflict
  • The level of conflict.

Part II: Resolving Conflicts

  • The reaction and behavior before the contradictory;
  • The effective conflict resolution;
  • The behavior in the conflict;
  • The principle of "Mutual win";
  • The cause of the conflict;
  • Two conflicting approaches;
  • Distinguish between empathy and sympathy;
  • DISC model;
  • These factors discourage empathy.

Part III: Preventing conflicts

  • The difference between hearing and listening;
  • 5 degree of hearing;
  • LACE model;
  • Johari Window model;
  • Emotional cycle;
  • Cycle "tit for tat";
  • Two thinking tool.

- The teaching method:

INLEN used the trainees are learner-centered in order to maximize the positive and their initiative.

Interactive teaching methods: Students - Students - Lecturers, and is used to coordinate the methodology: presentation, development ideas, group discussions, role play activities, case studies, act, ask and answer of course.

After the course, participants will confidence to use their experience and skills which are equipped to change the perceptions and behaviors of learners in the workplace. Curriculum and teaching method of INLEN built towards solving the problem, aiming at the difficulties that students are meeting with to suggest and guide appropriate solution through self-discovery exercises, practical exercises and individual action plans.
